Our Organisation

gallery 091123125423-the_missing_piece.jpgIn terms of chronological age, Crux Australis is a new organisation. The Company has only been in existence since May 2008 but has already made quite an impact on the marketplace. We specialise in the unique field of the prevention, management and defence against interpersonal aggression and violence. Whilst our company is new, the team behind it have extensive experience in aggression management, training product development and expert evidence. In short, we have built Australia’s premier advisory service on dealing with occupational violence and personal safety issues.

Crux Australis is a wholly Australian owned organisation and our name and logo reflects this. The company name, Crux Australis, is Latin for Southern Cross. We believe this reflects our innovative and pragmatic Aussie approach to solving problems, without undue recourse to electronic technology. Our logo reflects the colours of the Australian flag and features the Southern Cross constellation.

25 years of experience, education and training has led our Director, Damien Martin, to develop a unique skill set that led to the creation of Crux Australis. This experience has led to the development of unique expertise and the ability to provide sound advice on violence prevention strategies, personal safety, and training and development issues. This helps to ensure suitability, flexibility and consistency.

Our consultancy and facilitation team consists of experienced ‘real world’ people with the appropriate experience, qualifications and skills to deliver first rate services in their respective fields.

All of our training is conducted to industry best practice and Crux Australis goes to great lengths to benchmark their services globally and know that Crux Australis can compete with the best training anywhere in the world!
